Wake up with the Louise sheep milk bar soap! The Louise bar smells like chai with a blend of Palmarosa, Cardamom, Ylang Ylang, Cinnamon, and Clove essential oils. Perfect for a morning shower, customers at pop-ups compared it to having the spiciness of chai. This pink rose + spice clay bar is ideal for hand, body, or facial soap.
The History: Louise, like Mildred, was one of my great aunts. Louise lived with two of her sisters on one side of a duplex, and the fourth lived with her husband on the other side. I used to love hearing stories about The Great Aunts, who lived – I thought – the glamorous lives of flappers in the 1920s and who took the trolleys to their cottage outside of New London and who took trains to see men in New York. Louise worked for the phone company in downtown Hartford and had the biggest personality of the sisters, which I attempted to honor with the brightest artwork we could make!
Ingredients: coconut oil, olive oil, distilled water, shea butter, lye, sheep milk, castor oil, jojoba oil, our blend of essential oils, and red Brazilian clay.
Please: For the longest lasting bar, use a soap dish to allow the bar to dry between uses.
Handmade in small batches in Cambridge, MA. Sheep's milk hand milked and sourced from our family sheep farm in Glastonbury, CT.
