100% Wool Batting

This is 100% pure wool stuffing (also called carded wool), sourced from our family's farm in Glastonbury, Connecticut, along with two other Connecticut farms. This wool batting is a blend of East Friesian, Dorset, and Texel sheep. The wool has a medium micron count and is therefore going to hold its shape well.
Because we blended our wool, the batting varies from a white/cream color to a grey color and will be chosen at random unless otherwise specified.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
Photo is representative of one batt – three will be sent with each order. Batts were cut to size, so weight will vary slightly, but it will be around one pound. Some stretching may be needed to reach the 32" width.

CARE
Yes, you can wash wool! Please wash with Woolite, Soak or other gentle soaps or delicate detergent by hand. Hang dry.

SHIPPING
We will compress the wool to fit in a USPS Priority Medium Flat Rate box. Shipping transit times are approximately 3 days to travel coast to coast. If you would prefer to pick them up locally, we can arrange for that in Cambridge, MA or Glastonbury, CT – please email where you would like to pick up.
